Boss’s Day is nationally celebrated on October 16th every year. However, if it falls on the weekend it’s celebrated on the closest working day.

What is Boss’s Day?

The nationally observed holiday, Boss’s Day, is a holiday meant for employees to honor their bosses. In 1958, Patricia Bays Haroski registered the holiday in hopes that the holiday would help improve the employer-employee relationship. It was officially proclaimed as a national holiday in 1962.
