An Apple a Day Doesn’t Always Keep the Doctor Away

March 24, 2014

We spend most of our lives trying to avoid seeing doctors and nurses, but it is inevitable: we have to spend some quality time with them at least a few times a year.  Whether you have to take your sick children in or have caught the latest office bug, a trip to the doctor's office is sometimes necessary to kick whatever illness you have unfortunately contracted.

Thank goodness for the hardworking and sometimes overworked nurses and doctors who help get our bodies back in working order!  Do we tell them enough how much we appreciate them? Sometimes it is a hassle to sit in a doctor's office or ER and wait to be seen, and we spend too much time focusing on that. Let's face it, we are all guilty!

But, instead, we should be more thankful for the nurses who give us tips on how to feel better in a hurry and for the doctors that write us those miracle prescriptions.  March 30th is National Doctor's Day, and National Nurses Week will be here before you know it! We have plenty of wonderful healthcare gifts suited for both! Be sure to say thank you if you are begrudgingly taking a trip to the doctor in the near future.  Or just shoot an ePraise to your doctor's office to remind the doctors and nurses how much they are appreciated!
