Recognition Fun at the ‘Ville: Hats Off to Lisa!

Many of us wear a lot of different hats throughout the day here at Baudville. Lisa is no stranger to multi-tasking and with some recent new hires in her department, she has had to put on her trainer’s hat, as well! Her manager, Lindsey saw how hard Lisa was working to train, keep up on her current workload, and all the while doing it with a smile!

It’s amazing how much we will do for our managers and company when we feel recognized and appreciated for our efforts. Here’s how Lindsey showed her direct report, Lisa, the love for all that she’s been accomplishing lately!

What did the Lisa do to receive the recognition? 
Since her time as a Client Services Manager working on the hi5 brand, Lisa Montalvo has taken on additional responsibilities that aren’t part of her day-to-day position. She is constantly working with me on side projects and most recently, has really stepped up to help train our two new hires. She never shies away from additional work and is always willing to put in extra time to help.

What did you do to recognize her? 
I decorated her cubicle with a bunch of hats and a poster thanking her for all the many hats she wears at hi5. I also gave her a handwritten note/card to let her know how grateful we are for her and all her extra effort.

How did you determine what you were going to do for her? 
I wanted it to be something meaningful to her and her work on our team specifically. I know there are many days when her plate is over-filled and she gets it done. I wanted her to know that her hard work does not go unnoticed and that we see all she is doing. I wanted it to be something visible that others could see as well and hopefully spark some good conversation and additional kudos to her.

When did you recognize her? 
It has been three weeks since we brought on our new team members and we have them officially doing projects and talking to customers. After seeing all she has done to help ramp them up, it seemed like a good time to let her know I am thankful for her on our team.

Anything else you’d like to say? 
Lisa said she definitely felt the love, which is all you really want when you are thanking someone for all they do!

As a team member since 2005, Falon has worn just about every hat the 'ville has to offer. She's seen both sides of working life — as an employee and as a manager — so if it sounds like she knows what she's talking about, we're pretty sure that's why. When she's not juggling between the IDville and Baudville brands, she's been known to whip up a mean diorama - just like that!
